Dear Joni,
Have you considered whether EMDR will work for you? If you’re not sure who to ask about this, let me answer you right here.
Yes, it will.
I firmly believe that EMDR will work for just about anyone. And I’m on a mission to make sure it’s a resource that more people can take advantage of.
The biggest challenge right now is that there are only about 14,000 trained EMDR therapists in the U.S. When you consider the hundreds of millions of people who could benefit from EMDR, the demand far outweighs the supply of therapists.
EMDR should be the default practice in therapists’ offices, but first we need to make sure that graduate schools have the resources to train new therapists. And for those new or early in practice, we need to lower the cost of getting trained.
EMDR can benefit everyone, from those who want to perform better at work to those going through life transitions, from children struggling with friendships and school to new parents wanting to be the best for their children.
This week I started a new series, Why EMDR Works, and I invite you to listen in to the first episode of the series where I share about why EMDR should be a standard practice in every therapeutic setting.
Listen in today!
Warmly,
Kambria
